Response Photography Competition 2008

Call for Entries — Deadline: August 1, 2008

Response invites submissions of photographs on the theme of reconciliation.

 

The winning entry will be published in the Winter 2009 Response, and the winning photographer will receive a $250 prize.

Competition Rules

Each entrant may submit no more than three photographs to the competition. Each photograph must be accompanied by an entry form.


  • A digital file may be submitted (JPG format with a maximum width of 1024 pixels and a maximum height of 768 pixels).
  • A paper- or plastic-mounted 35mm slide may be submitted (no glass mounts).
  • A photograph may be submitted as an unmounted 5”x7” or 8”x10” print.

 

Please do not send any original slides or prints you want returned. No entries will be returned.

 

The competition is open to anyone, except for Seattle Pacific University employees and their immediate families (spouses or children). Professional photographers (people who earn more than half of their annual income as photographers) are also ineligible. Entries must have been shot by the entrant and must be owned by the entrant.

 

Entrants will receive an email acknowledgement that their entry has been received. The winner will be notified by December 1, 2008.

If you are submitting a print or slide, please print out this entry form (PDF 72KB), fill it in, and send it with your photograph to Response, Seattle Pacific University, 3307 Third Avenue West, Suite 116, Seattle, Washington 98119-1922.

Each individual photograph you submit must be accompanied by a separate entry form. Limit of three photographs per entrant.
