My World: Jason Whaling
As a 5-year-old, Jason Whaling dreamed he’d be the businessman rushing through the airport terminal every other weekend. At 15, he started dabbling in selling vacuums, candles, and books online. Then he sold remote-control helicopters on his own website. Now a junior business administration major at SPU, Jason has been working as a church accountant since freshman year. His dreams of thriving in business have gotten even bigger. “I want to make enough money to bring jobs, housing, and schools to a community that doesn’t have it,” he says.
