My World: Chrissy Hughes
Many of Chrissy Hughes’ classmates know she skates. Few know that she’s performed double axels and camel spins all over the world. The sophomore has been to the U.S. Figure Skating Championships four times, and won the Junior Grand Prix in Romania and Bulgaria in 2007. She recently retired from professional ice skating, but wants to represent Seattle Pacific University at the Collegiate National Championships next summer. At SPU, she is an exercise science major, works on campus, and attends weekly worship nights. She’s a typical SPUer –– who just happens to land a perfect triple Salchow.
Let more SPU students tell you about their worlds. Look in the My World gallery.
