Cheri Wilke
cheri@spu.edu

Cheri Wilke has spent most the past year in England volunteering at a small Anglican retreat center in the hamlet of Little Gidding, Cambridgeshire, where T.S. Eliot was inspired to write the last poem in the Four Quartets. She is a lover of Eliot and all poetry,  a writer and artist, a grandma of two energetic boys, and an avid reader. She and her husband, Kris, love to travel and have spent several years going back and forth to Europe to visit friends in France and the United Kingdom. Cheri’s passion is medieval and Gothic art and architecture and has tried to visit as many cathedrals as she can each trip. As the Administrative Assistant in the Art Department, Cheri is looking forward to rubbing elbows with fellow art lovers and to being a part of the creative community here at SPU.
