The faculty of the Seattle Pacific Art Department is dedicated to the education and instruction of students in the Visual Arts, in preparation for future service and leadership in the greater community. Faculty members take specific responsibilities for leadership in implementing the University's mission: "engage the culture and change the world.” Each professor is committed to evangelical Christian faith and values, and to excellence in teaching and scholarship for the intellectual, personal and spiritual growth of students.
