Find Your Track: Multiethnic Students

Are you a student of color? Are you coming from a diverse urban high school? Are you the first in your family to attend college? Did you and your parents grew up in another country?
If your answer is yes to more than two of these questions, consider coming to Early Connections 2013.

Early Connections takes place during the three days before Welcome Week begins. It’s an optional program that precedes Welcome Week and is designed to equip students of color from diverse urban backgrounds to make a smooth and successful transition into SPU by introducing them to one another, to campus and community resources, and to other students and staff of color.

If you’d like to learn more about Early Connections or other ways you can get involved, contact Susan Okamoto Lane, director of Multiethnic Programs, at or 206-281-2598.
