The Seattle Pacific University Archives exists to maintain a sustainable Archives program and to ensure that selected content generated in the operation of the university will be managed securely for legal, decision-making and historical purposes. The University Archives serves as the repository for the records documenting the history and activities of SPU and its predecessors: Seattle Seminary and Seattle Pacific College.

In the Beginning
Alexander Hall, shown here in an undated photo from the early 20th century, is the oldest building on campus. Built in 1891, it is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
