  • Easter Closure

    The Library will be closed for Easter Weekend. The Library closes at noon on Good Friday, March 29, and reopens at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013. The library staff wishes you a Happy Easter.

  • Spring Break Hours

    During Spring Break, March 16 - 26, we will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. We will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. The staff wishes you a wonderful break!

  • Check Out a MacBook Pro

    Have you ever wanted to use a computer on the Second and Third Levels of the library, but didn't have your own? Take advantage of the great views and use a study room with technology at your fingertips. Stop by the Tech Desk on the Lower Level to check out a MacBook Pro for use within the library.

  • Need a Quiet Place to Study During Finals?

    Starting Wednesday, March 6, the SPU Library will transform the Library Seminar Room into a Quiet Study Zone for finals. From 6 p.m. to close Monday-Thursdays and all day on the weekend, the Library Seminar Room is reserved for quiet, individual study. 

    Put cellphones on silent, bring quiet munchies, and be prepared to pass notes: this space is going to be as noise free as we can make it!

    Need a library closer to home during break? SPU students, staff or faculty members, are welcome at any Alliance member library. Borrow items or pick up Summit items directly from another institution by creating a record with them using your SPU log in information.
