  • Holiday Hours — Presidents' Day & Weekend

    In observance of Presidents' Day, the Library will have reduced hours all weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, February 13th and 14th, the Library will be open Noon — 8 p.m., and on Monday the 15th from Noon — Midnight.

    Join us on Thursday February 11th, at 12-12:50 p.m. in the Library Reading Room, to hear Dr. Al Erisman trace the line of his recent interdisciplinary work in Business, Mathematics, and Theology. His story will touch on the biblical narrative of Joseph, how a mathematical lens shapes our social world, and more. Light snacks will be provided.

  • Digital Life After College Panel

    As part of the Center for Career and Calling's "Life After College Week," the library's Michael Paulus, Cindy Strong, and Ryan Ingersoll will contribute to a panel discussion titled "Digital Life after College." They will discuss curating a digital identity, enhancing tech skills, and cultivating digital wisdom. The panel will be held on Thursday, January 14th, at 10:00 a.m., in Demaray Hall 355.

  • Write @ the Library!

    Need some help writing your final papers? Come to "Write @ the Library!" The SPU Writing Center will be set up behind the Library Reference desk with lots of ideas and resources to help you start, write, revise, and finish your paper. 

    Bring in your papers all quarter on Wednesdays, from 4-6 p.m.

  • Christmas Break Hours

    December 10th through the 23rd, the Library will be open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed weekends.  The library participates in the university-wide campus closure, closing Christmas Eve through New Year’s day. We will  reopen Monday, January 4th, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During the break, come check out a DVD or a book from the Popular Fiction Collection. You may also enjoy the quiet of our reading room and the Christmas tree of books. Merry Christmas to all!

    Take a break — read for fun over the Christmas holiday! Our Popular Fiction Collection, displayed in the Reading Room on the main floor of the Library, contains approximately 80 titles for your browsing pleasure. Stop in and pick one out.
