  • Friends of the Library Lecture 2015

    Join us on Thursday, April 23rd, from 7:30-9:00 p.m., for the annual Friends of the Library Lecture in Upper Gwinn Commons. This year, book designer Adam Lewis Green will talk about re-designing the bible for reading, and how he is implementing it. The lecture is free and all are welcome - read more about it on the SPU Library blog.

    The Digital Commons @ SPU is an online repository for both the history and future of the university. You can view past and current works of scholarship created by members of the community, delve into the pictorial history of the university, watch lectures you may have missed, and more!

  • Holiday Hours — Holy Week

    On April 3rd, in observance of Good Friday, the SPU library hours are reduced to 7:30 a.m. — noon. On Saturday and Sunday, April 4th and 5th, the library will be closed. Happy Easter!

  • End of Term & Spring Break Hours

    On the last day of finals, March 19th, the Library will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. During Spring Break, the Library will be open from 8 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Best wishes to you all, and have an excellent Spring Break!

  • Read for Pleasure this Spring

    Starting to think about what to read over Spring Break? Our Popular Fiction Collection, displayed in the Reading Room on the main floor, contains approximately 90 titles that have been individually selected for this browsing collection. Stop in before the end of classes, or pick one out during the break, and indulge.
