- Academic Search Premier - This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. Its coverage ranges from 1984 to the present, with some back files (to 1975) and searchable cited references available.(SPU Only)
- JSTOR - offers digitized versions of core scholarly journals in many disciplines.(SPU Only)
- ViVa Women's History - ViVa is a current bibliography of women’s and gender history in historical and women’s studies journals. It offers descriptions of selected articles from 180 international journals, with coverage from 1975 to the present.

- America: History and Life - This index of literature covers the history and culture of the United States and Canada, from prehistory to the present, with indexing for 1,700 journals published as early as 1910.(SPU Only)
- New York Times Index - offers full-text coverage of the U.S. newspaper of record. Important speeches and documents, Supreme Court decisions, and presidential press conference transcripts are included.(SPU Only)
