Registration Deadlines
The option to waitlist has ended. Unless you received confirmation from Student Academic Services that you got into the course you waitlisted, you are not and will not be enrolled. The deadline for adding classes for spring quarter has passed as of Friday, April 4. Students wishing to take a course Pass/No Credit or register for an internship, independent study or individual instruction in music may do so in Student Academic Services (Demaray Hall 151) through 4:30p.m. Friday, April 11.

Association for Women in Computing Scholarship
The Puget Sound Chapter of the Association for Women in Computing is offering a $1000.00 scholarship for 2003-2004 to honor one of their founders, Donnafaye Carroll Finger. The scholarship will be awarded to a woman enrolled in an information technology program in a Puget Sound area college and is based on academic performance and financial need. Applications are due May 31. You can pick one up from the Student Financial Services scholarship notebook, or just visit www.awcps.org.

Have any books in Spanish or Chinese?
The Olive Branch is collecting Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) books, videos, and audio books for Fred Hutch families. We would appreciate any donations (that are in good condition)! If you have any items or have any suggestions on where to look for donations, please contact the Olive Branch Theme House at (206) 286-7232 or email us at shahmin@spu.edu. Reconciliation Emphasis Week
The week of April 14-17 is Reconciliation Week. This week will emphasize the importance of Intercultural Awareness and what we as members of the SPU community can be doing to embrace ethnic diversity. Come join us in the many opportunities next week to grow in awareness of issues regarding race and culture: April 14: Upper Gwinn will host The TRIBES Project for a drama and discussion on issues of race and culture. April 15: Staley lecturer Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil with speak in Chapel. April 16: Dr. McNeil will host a Christian Formations class April 17: There will be a forum with Dr. McNeil in Demaray 150 from 9:30a.m. – 10:20 a.m. Later, from 1:00p.m. – 1:40p.m., she will speak at the MOSIAC Cadre. Personal Strength Training Tips
Personal strength training tips will be offered in the REX Fitness Center (downstairs in Hill Hall) from 4:30p.m. - 5:30p.m. Monday, April 14 by graduate students and professionals in Sport and Exercise. All SPU faculty/staff/students welcome. No cost. Come learn the guidelines and benefits for personal strength training.
