Join us for a time of singing and celebrating songs and hymns from Wales; participation is encouraged -- bring your vocal cords! Snacks provided afterwards. Last week of Falcon basketball
This is the last week of home games for Falcon basketball. On Thursday the women take on Seattle University at 5:30 p.m., while the men host Humboldt State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday is senior night for the men's and women's basketball teams. The women host Western Washington at 5:00 p.m. and the men play Western Oregon at 7:00 p.m. There will be lots of give-aways to celebrate the Falcons' successful seasons! Pura Vida Coffee sponsors Emerson Coffeehouse!
Emerson Hall Council invites the SPU community to a unique Emerson Coffeehouse sponsored by Pura Vida Coffee (w/ guest artist Curtis Romjue from the acclaimed band JUBILEE)! Pura Vida is a Christian nonprofit organization (based in Seattle) that sells quality Fair Trade, Shade Grown, and Certified Organic coffees to create good by using capitalism to empower producers, motivate consumers, inspire business leaders, and ultimately serve the poor. Come hear some great live music, drink Pura Vida Coffee and learn more about this cause on Saturday, February 26 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the Emerson Hall Lobby. Donations will be accepted but are not required; raffle tickets will be sold for a drawing of several donated prizes as well! All proceeds go to Pura Vida Coffee. Native American Celebration
Come experience the all new Mosaic club event: Native American Celebration! WHAT: Come celebrate and learn the Native American Culture through food, traditional storytelling and singing, and displays of Native American artwork. Spring Registration for currently admitted undergraduate students begins Tuesday February 22. Spring Registration for graduate students begins Monday March 7. Questions? 4th Annual PR Career Jumpstart
The 4th PR Career Jumpstart is just the educational and real world advice students and beginning professionals need to get started in Public Relations. This event will cover event planning, media relations, networking skills, portfolio development, 1-on-1 resume critiques, and much more. Nursing Career Fair
On February 24, 2005 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in Upper Gwinn, SHS will host a nursing career fair. 20 health care organizations from around the Puget Sound will be here to talk with students about health related job opportunities. All nursing and pre-nursing students are encouarged to attend. Although the focus will be nursing related jobs, all students interested in health care are invited. Snacks and door prizes included.
