Washington State Nurses Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to qualified students preparing for a career as a registered nurse in Washington State. The applicant must be currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse program leading to an associate, baccalaureate, or higher nursing degree -- and must have completed at least 12 nursing credits. The applicant must be a resident of Washington State or enrolled in a registered Nursing program in the state. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA. All materials must be postmarked by February 10, 2006. Applications can be found in the Student Financial Services office, located in lower Demaray. The SFS Undergraduate Scholarship Application is Now Available!
Applications for the Student Financial Services Undergraduate Scholarship are now available online at www.spu.edu/depts/sfs/scholar.asp. All application materials are due to the SFS no later than December 2nd by 4:30pm. Thanksgiving weekend is coming and that is a great time to fill out the application! If you have any questions please contact Whitney Kruse at krusew@spu.edu.

The George A. Nielson Public Investor Scholarship
The George A. Nielson Public Investor Scholarship of $5,000 is available in 2006 to an undergraduate or graduate student in public administration, finance, business administration or a related field. The purpose of the scholarship is to support the studies of full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate students with a career interest in the efficient and productive investment of public funds. The deadline for all applications is February 3, 2006. Applications can be found in the SFS office located in lower Demaray. If you have questions please contact Whitney Kruse at krusew@spu.edu.

Annual Yule Fest & Club Christmas Party
On Saturday, November 19th, join the Nordic Club to enjoy the festivities of a Scandinavian Christmas at the Nordic Museum, 3014 NW 67th St (Ballard)! This annual Christmas celebration features 60 craft booths, Scandinavian food, music, dance, and children's crafts. Meet in the parking lot in front of the Alumni Office (next to Otto Miller Hall) at 2:00pm for carpool. After enjoying Ballard's festivities, we' will have our own Christmas Party back on campus. Opportunities for volunteering at the Nordic Museum during this event are also available. Contact club leaders for details on this event as well as volunteering. Quarterly Payment Plan
The Quarterly Payment Plan divides your quarter's costs over three payments instead of one. There is a formal application and non-refundable $30 application fee required for each quarter. However, you will not receive late fees nor have a financial hold placed on your account. The deadline to enroll is November 15.
