Give Life…Give Blood
Every day there is a need. Don't wait to give blood, the time is now. Each unit of blood donated has the potential to save three people's lives in our community. Every three seconds in the U.S., someone needs blood. 4.5 million American lives are saved each year by blood transfusions. You can help simply by taking a few minutes out of your day. Stop by the Bloodmobile which will be parked in the Loop on Tuesday, Nov 25. Drop by anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to donate. For more information contact Kellie Bratz, kbratz@spu.edu.

President's Annual Christmas Study Break
President and Mrs. Eaton invite you to The President's Christmas Study Break on Monday, December 8, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Come join us at the Hillford House, 600 West Dravus (across from Ashton Hall). Take a break from studying for 5 minutes or for awhile and join us for some fellowship and goodies! For more information contact Becka Lewis, beckalewis@spu.edu.

Availability of State Work Study Funds
The State Work Study program is an option for students that have been awarded work study as part of their financial aid. The pool of funds that SPU receives from the state will be fully awarded by February 1. If you are a student currently working on the SWS program and you would like an increase, please contact the Office of Student Employment soon. If you are a student looking for a SWS job, please do your best to locate one and complete the appropriate paperwork by January 15. Again, there will not be additional SWS funds available after February 1. Contact the Office of Student Employment if you have questions, ose@spu.edu. For more general information regarding work study and student employment, visit www.spu.edu/studentjobs.
