Welcome to Mu Kappa at Seattle Pacific University!

Check us out on Facebook!

We are a cadre of missionary kids (MKs), pastors' kids and trans-cultural kids that have made SPU our college home after coming from places around the world. Each quarter we have tons of exciting events, retreats and get-togethers going on so come by and join the fun, we'd love to get to know you!

EVERYONE is welcome, whether you have an international background or not; just being interested in learning about other cultures is enough!

The purpose and history of our club:
Mu Kappa supports missionary kids (MKs), pastors' kids, and trans-cultural kids, as they adjust to college, by providing an environment where they can build friendships and have a support group to aid them in their transition from one culture to another.

We are a service-oriented club as well, focusing on SPRINT team support, international student outreach, mission and cultural awareness, and urban ministry in Seattle. Mu Kappa at SPU is part of a larger organization, under the ministry Barnabas International, with chapters on about 50 different college campuses. The website for the Mu Kappa International is www.mukappa.org. Membership in Mu Kappa is open to any Seattle Pacific University student who is a missionary kid, multi-cultural kid, or any student interested in other cultures.

If you'd like to be added to the e-mail list to find out about upcoming events, send an e-mail to Josh Meier at jpmeier@spu.edu.
