Crystal Senados had to fund her own education. This was daunting, but she felt called to SPU and knew it would prepare her for the future she wanted.
So she used her resources. Crystal applied for many scholarships and work study jobs on campus. When she hit an obstacle or had questions, she talked with her counselor in Student Financial Services (SFS).
Today, as a junior business administration major, Crystal loves her professors and classes, as well as the supportive community at SPU. After graduating, she hopes to work for a global giant in Seattle like Amazon before starting her own company.
“Think and pray about what you want in a college education,” says Crystal. “If SPU has what you want, it will be worth it. SPU had everything I wanted and more — a great academic program, Christian community, exciting location. If you apply for scholarships, work hard, and talk with Student Financial Services, you can find a way to make it happen.”
