Reconciliation Studies Prof. Brenda Salter McNeil in Chapel

As part of the Church Leaders Forum, Associate Professor of Reconciliation Studies Brenda Salter McNeil will speak in chapel on Tuesday, February 23, 11:10 a.m. in First Free Methodist Church. She is director of SPU’s reconciliation studies, as well as an author, speaker, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience in the field of racial, ethnic, and gender reconciliation. Dr. McNeil teaches undergraduate and seminary students to become more effective leaders in diverse, multiethnic churches, communities, and organizations. She has also lectured extensively at numerous Christian colleges and universities across the United States and Africa, and is an ordained clergy person in the Evangelical Covenant Church. She is the author of several books, including her most recent publication, Roadmap to Reconciliation: Moving Communities Into Unity, Wholeness and Justice (2016).
