The 2016 Senior Gift Committee is raising money to help with the restoration and installation of two rare paintings by African-American artist Charles Ethan Porter, which were recently donated to the SPU John Perkins Center.
The goal is $1,500, which will then be matched five times for a total of $7,500. To make an online donation, go to the spu.edu/givenow and select “other” and then specify “Senior Gift.” Learn more about the paintings and donors William Sacherek and Liselotte Lamerdin.
