SPU’s annual Gates Reading, honoring Professor Emerita of English Fan Mayhall Gates, will take place on Thursday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Art Center Gallery. This year’s guest is poet Mischa Willett, an instructor in SPU’s writing program. He will read from his new book of poems, Phases, published by Cascade Books. (Rumor has it that Fan Gates herself will be in attendance!) The event is free and open to the public.
