Alumni Couple Receive SPU Medallion Award

Jennifer and Eric Best

Alumni Eric and Jennifer Best received the Seattle Pacific University Alumni Medallion Award during SPU’s Homecoming and Parents Weekend.

Eric graduated from SPU in 1995, while his wife, Jennifer Best, graduated in 1994. Eric has founded several technology service companies, including Mercent and Mindcorps.

Additionally, Jennifer currently serves as the associate dean for graduate medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine, as well as a hospitalist for Harborview Medical Center.

The Bests are also parents to two young sons and are active in their church, as well as Twelfth Night Productions, and the Seattle Children’s Chorus communities.

The Medallion Award is given to alumni who have provided outstanding service to the University, community, and whose contributions have made a significant impact in a particular field of service.
