Record Number of Fulbright Scholars

A record number of Seattle Pacific University students and alumni received Fulbright awards to study abroad this year. Three students and one alumna received grants from the Fulbright Program, which is the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program. The program offers students grants to conduct research, study, and teach abroad. The 2018-19 recipients are: 

  • David Dovgopoly, College of Arts and Science, Arts and Humanities, history major (Ukraine)
  • Rachel Long, School of Business, Government, and Economics, Global Development major (Kyrgyzstan)
  • Abby Jensen, School of Business, Government, and Economics, Global Development major (Jordan)
  • Rachel Weeks, School of Business, Government, and Economics, Global Development alumna (Laos)
