Ivy Cutting Featured in Seattle Times

Seattle Times photographer Alan Berner covered Seattle Pacific’s Ivy Cutting on June 8, and a gallery of some of his photos are online. Begun as an "Ivy Planting" ceremony in 1922, this long-honored tradition involves graduating seniors dressed in caps and gowns circling a rope of ivy, surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and staff.
