Seattle Pacific University is joining government entities, citizens, and businesses in lowering the campus American flag to half-staff in memory retired Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court John Paul Stevens, who passed away on July 16 at the age of 99.
Pursuant to a Presidential Proclamation, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee directs that Washington State and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff until close of business or sunset on Tuesday, July 23.
