During the Summer 2016 quarter, Blakely Island Field Station will again offer courses for both Biology majors and non-majors. Details about the courses are available on the BIFS Website.
Registration for Blakely courses runs on Banner from May 2 until June 1. Alternatively, you can also register for these courses by completing the downloadable registration form. Course fees, including tuition, room, board, and transportation to Blakely Island, are approximately $3700, depending on the course. (The 3-credit GIS course will cost about $2400.)
Limited financial aid is available from the field station. Financial aid applications can be downloaded from the BIFS website. The ordinary deadline for financial aid applications is May 1st, but can be extended if needed. All questions about Blakely Island courses or financial aid should be directed to Dr. Eric Long (acting director of Blakely Island Field Station while Dr. Nelson is on sabbatical.
