Carmen Hové publishes research paper

Carmen Hové (BS Applied Human Biology 2014), a PhD candidate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of California Santa Barbara, recently published her research in Evolution, Medicine and Public Health.  Carmen's research, entitled "Immune function during pregnancy varies between ecologically distinct populations", compared immune system status in pregnant women from two distinct populations to determine if ecological factors impact maternal immune response to pregnancy.
