Reading Endorsement (P–12) Required Courses

The Reading Endorsement requires 23–26 total credits, and you must complete the following required courses:

*Before you can enroll in the Field Experience/PPA, passing scores must be received at SPU for the WEST-E test. You should plan to take the test early enough to allow scores to be reported to SPU prior to the intended quarter for the Field Experience. For dates and registration, visit

**EDRD 6533 and EDRD 6506 must be taken at the 6000-level. Graduate tuition rates will apply.
