School of Education Scholarships Application Now Open

Undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Education are encouraged to apply for an annual scholarship offered through the School of Education. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and commitment to the School of Education's mission. All students apply for scholarships via one application.

Undergraduate students may be awarded funds from a number of endowments and scholarships provided by donors specifically for education students. The application deadline for undergraduate students is March 15.

Graduate students may apply for the Kingswood Scholarship for Christian educators, the William and Carol Rowley Scholarship, or the Ethnic Diversity Scholarship through the application. The deadline for graduate students is June 15.

To be eligible for the Kingswood Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria.
1. Be admitted to a graduate degree or certification program.
2. Be enrolled at least half-time (3 credits) each quarter during the 2015-2016 academic year.
3. Maintain all graduate student requirements for continuation in the program.
4. Demonstrate financial need.
5. Be employed half-time or more in a state-approved Christian elementary or secondary school.

To be eligible for the Ethnic Diversity Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria.
1. Be admitted to a graduate degree or certification program.
2. Be enrolled at least half-time (3 credits) each quarter during the 2015-2016 academic year.
3. Maintain all graduate student requirements for continuation in the program.
4. Demonstrate financial need.
5. Belong to an under-represented ethnic minority group.

To be eligible for the William and Carol Rowley Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria.
1. Be admitted to either the PhD in Counselor Education or the MEd in School Counseling program.
2. Be enrolled at least half-time (3 credits) each quarter during the 2015-2016 academic year.
3. Maintain all graduate student requirements for continuation in the program.
4. Demonstrate financial need.
