We invite you to join us for the 41st Annual Alfred S. Palmer Lecture featuring Ellen F. Davis, PhD, Amos Ragan Kearns professor of Bible and practical theology at Duke Divinity School, on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. in Upper Gwinn Commons. The Worship Arts Leadership minor is an interdisciplinary program housed in the School of Theology and administered by the Center for Worship. In this new minor, students learn how to reflect theologically on worship, create appropriate liturgical materials, and participate in various types of worship services. Drawing on various forms of artistic expression, students will gain experience collaborating with a team to plan, lead, and facilitate worship in congregational settings. Learn more about the minor and its degree requirements here.
