Chloe (Sandvik) Hays is a 2013 SPU Alum and former Program and Recruiting Coordinator for Nordstrom where she supported corporate interns in areas such as Merchandising & Planning. Chloe has experience coaching candidates on résumé and interview skills, leading interview prep classes and participating in 100+ panel interviews for Nordstrom internships and training programs.
Mara Sims, Acting Senior Recruiter, has been working with King County Human Resources for over ten years and currently assists with recruitments for King County Metro Transit. She started her career in human resources during her junior year of college as a Seattle Pacific University Work-Study student (Sociology `05) and has worked her way up to the position she currently holds now as an Acting Senior Recruiter.
Zyra Layaoen, Recruiting Coordinator at zulily, graduated from SPU in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in social enterprise. She currently supports hiring and onboarding efforts for the Executive Team and the HR Department at zulily.
Toby Salado currently works on contract and contract-to-hire positions for Amazon, Microsoft, and a few start-up companies as a recruiter at H10 Capital. Originally from Hawaii, Toby graduated from SPU with a degree in Music in 2012. Having worked various jobs while at SPU and after, Toby understands that contract positions can seem scary, but he will provide insight as to why they can be an awesome opportunity to diversify your professional experience and work towards a successful career.
