Faculty Research and Scholarship Grants (FRSGs) are awarded each spring by the Office of the Provost to support original scholarship by faculty, including programs of research that focus on the scholarship of discovery, teaching and learning, application, and/or synthesis.
FRSG funds can be used for direct research expenses, subvention costs, or a summer stipend, which can help you complete your scholarly project.
Members of the Faculty Development Committee review and recommend internal grant funding while FLO administers the grants.
The majority of funds will be allocated to pre-tenured, tenure-track faculty while senior faculty will be eligible for funding that is set aside specifically for post-tenure faculty.
