Measles Immunity

All incoming students must present official documentation of measles immunity.

This can be done by completing Part 2 of the Student Health and Immunization Record (PDF) and doing one of the following:

  • Obtain a health care provider’s signature on the form, or
  • Attach official documentation in English (i.e., health care provider’s office or state registry documentation of immunizations or lab reports for titers) to the form.

Two doses of MMR vaccine (dates) or laboratory evidence of immunity (titer) are acceptable to document immunity.

While we no longer require Tdap vaccine, we strongly encourage all students to discuss complete immunization recommendations with their primary care provider.

College-age students especially, should be up to date on recommended meningitis and tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccines, as well as all other routine immunizations.

Please refer to the Meningitis information sheet (PDF).
