Leeza grew up in Pheonix, Arizona and has spent the past few years in both northern and southern California. She attended Simpson University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and served as an RA and student resident director. It was at Simpson that Leeza discovered a passion for Residence Life and supporting students through their college experience. Leeza went on to attend Azusa Pacific University, where she received her master’s degree in College Counseling and Student Development.
While attending APU, Leeza was involved in connecting students to the local community through service opportunities as well as working in Residence Life at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Upon graduation, she returned to Simpson University as a resident director, where her interest in student affairs all began. Leeza was drawn to Seattle Pacific University because of its commitment to excellence and bringing positive change to the world.
Leeza is excited about inspiring students to dream and is working hard to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to make their dreams become a reality. As new residents of the PNW, Leeza and her husband Jacob are excited to get better acquainted with the surrounding area, specifically through visiting coffee shops and spending time outdoors.
