Brandon Liu

Graduate Assistant


Education: BA, Wheaton College; MS (Expected), Seattle Pacific University

Brandon grew up across the U.S. and overseas and has lived in places such as Washington, Japan, and Hawaii. He earned a BA in psychology and pre-medical studies from Wheaton College, IL. While attending Wheaton College, he developed a passion for marriage and family therapy and its use in the medical setting. After graduating, Brandon entered the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Seattle Pacific University with a concentration in Medical Family Therapy.

Brandon currently serves as the graduate assistant for Hall Council in Arnett Hall and is humbled by the opportunity to be a part of the SPU community. He strives to support, guide, and challenge students to think critically about leadership, diversity, and inclusion. Brandon was drawn to SPU because of its commitment to a faith-informed and culturally-impactful scholarship.

Brandon enjoys Indian food, watching horror movies with close friends, and talking about interdisciplinary health care. Brandon and his family are excited getting to know the Seattle foodie scene and PNW hiking.
