Grace grew up on the east side in Kirkland, Washington, where she developed a love for travel, art, good coffee, foods of all kinds (but especially Italian and Indian) and for people- along with a fascination about what shapes them. She graduated from Whitworth University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Christian Theology. For the next year, she spent time working with Family Promise of Spokane to serve the homeless population and realized she wanted to be a Social Worker! She hopes to work towards an MSW in the coming years.
As much as she loves the PNW, Grace has been enamored with traveling ever since she was young. Last year she taught English and learned Spanish in Madrid, Spain and traveled anywhere and everywhere over her long weekends. She hopes to live abroad again soon.
When she's not at work, Grace loves to practice art (all kinds!), bake, spend time outdoors and spend quality time with her loved ones (over food and coffee!).
Grace is excited about becoming a part of SPU's community and to learn with and from her RAs and residents!
