Rebecca grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan where she received her bachelor's in Intercultural Communications and certification in InterGroup Dialogue. While at Hope, Rebecca worked in the Career Development Center and gained a passion for helping college students identify their professional and personal strengths.
Shortly after graduating, Rebecca moved to Beit Hanina, Palestine to teach Peace Studies at a K-12 school. It was here that she solidified her love of working in education. Rebecca went on to receive her master's degree in Reconciliation and Intercultural Studies from Seattle Pacific Seminary (SPS). During her time at SPS, Rebecca served on the Seminary Student Council and worked as a Graduate Assistant, focusing on syllabi assessment, student engagement, and distribution of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
Rebecca is excited to be at Seattle Pacific University in a role where her passions and education align to support college students and cultivate community marked by radical inclusion and belonging. While away from campus, Rebecca can be found visiting her favorite Seattle spots and spending time with friends and family.
