Education: MPH, University of Washington, Nutritional Sciences and Public Health Nutrition; BS, Boston University, Communications; State of Washington Certified Dietitian
I am a masters-level Registered Dietitian, but what I do can be better described as a Nutrition Counselor. My approach to nutrition is not just about physical health, but also about considering the impact of food and eating on mental/emotional health as well. Therefore, I will not merely prescribe you a “diet,” but we will consider many aspects of your life and health together in order to find an optimal place where you can be both healthy and happy.
With a specialty in the spectrum of eating disorders and body image issues, I can also support you through the process of recovery and cultivating a more positive relationship with your body. Through this process, it is my hope that you will gain a deeper understanding of your needs and be able to approach health and nutrition from a place of self-compassion and self-care.
