Sunday Morning Worship

Tiffany Loop, then First Free Methodist Church

Worship at First Free Methodist church: Meet in the Loop by the archway. University Ministries staff will walk over with you. Donuts and coffee will be provided.

12–1:25 p.m.

Lunch Rotations and Orientation Group Time

Join your orientation group for a hearty meal in Gwinn Commons. Lunch is available at no cost to students on a meal plan… just bring your Falcon Card. Not on a meal plan? Stop by 2nd Weter to get tickets for Orientation meals.

  • Groups 1-12 should plan on arriving at 12 p.m.
  • Groups 13-25 should plan on arriving at 12:20 p.m.

Early Connections Social III

Registered Early Connections students: Join us in the Collegium, located on the first floor of Weter Hall. Lunch will be provided.

1:30–2:45 p.m.

"Informed Decisions" with Jason Kilmer

Upper Gwinn

Come learn from educator and researcher Dr. Jason Kilmer, who speaks at colleges and universities across the nation. An expert on the topic of student wellness around issues of substance usage, Dr. Kilmer's session is continually rated by students as one of the highlights of Orientation.

Come learn from our student leaders as they share what it means to be a Falcon, and how you can embody those Falcon values as you enter the community.

Not able to make Orientation? This is the opportunity for students joining SPU from other colleges and universities to make connections and get important details about the Falcon experience.

4:15-5 p.m.

Orientation Group Time

Meet up with your orientation group one final time, to cap your Orientation journey together!

Have you been waiting to find out how you can get involved at SPU this year? Then this is the event for you! Representatives from more than 55 clubs and organizations will be present to tell you about their group and how you can join them.
