Nine Steps to a Perfect Launch

Be accountable to the highest standards of scholarship, integrity, and excellence.
Make strong connections with faculty, staff, and other students.
Immerse yourself in campus life at SPU during the first month of school — you’ll meet more people and make lasting friendships. This goes for those who live off-campus, too!
Be healthy: Eat well, exercise, and get enough sleep.
Embrace diversity. Attend programs that are different from what you would usually choose, and keep an open mind.
Learn how you learn best. Join or organize study groups. Develop disciplines that help you retain what you learn.
Join a club or an organization — or start your own.
Use your SPU email account.
Use discretion online. Faculty, employers, and others may be viewing your Facebook page or other social networking activities.
