Dr. Elisabetta Ipino joined the School of Business, Government, and Economics after spending three years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy at John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montreal. After moving to the Puget Sound area, she spent a year as an Adjunct Professor at the Albers School of Business, Seattle University.
Elisabetta’s research interests focus on financial reporting in capital markets as well as on corporate governance, with an emphasis on the forces that shape the differences in board composition and the economic consequences of International Financial Reporting Standards adoption. Her work has been published in Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Accounting and Business Research, and Social Responsibility Journal.
