Carol Cummings, Ph.D., a former classroom teacher, is an active international consultant. She is coordinator of staff development for Raising Healthy Children, (a U of W research project which has been involved with teaching emotional literacy to high risk students for the past 20 years and is cited in Daniel Golemanšs book, Emotional Intelligence). Dr. Cummings is the author of more than 16 books for teachers and children, including a curriculum guide for social and emotional learning.
