Roger Kukes received his M.F.A. from Yale University, and is an award winning animator and visual artist. Active in the Artist-in-Residence program since 1977, he has visited over 250 schools guiding his K-8 students to produce magnificent books, illustrations, films and curriculum-based projects. Mr. Kukes regularly conducts classes and workshops for teachers at colleges/universities through the Western U.S. He is a popular presenter at reading, media and art conferences, and is the author of The Zoetrope Book and Drawing in the Classroom.
