At the Heart of What We Do

President Philip Eaton

By SPU President Philip W. Eaton

"After a quiet summer, it's a joy to see students return to campus. Our student leaders, and our faculty and staff members, are working hard to prepare for the arrival of new and continuing students. This is a wonderful time of year -- so full of promise and anticipation about the year to come."

What promising things does this academic year hold? Read President Eaton's message to learn about SPU's one-of-a-kind Center for Biblical and Theological Education, the launch of its four-year cycle of guided Bible readings, and what's at the center of SPU's work with students.

My middle daughter begins her SPU experience this September. I'll have so much more peace dropping our second daughter off at SPU, because I now have much more insight into the University."

Continue reading Mary Kay Ausenhus' article to learn what she's discovered about SPU -- and why she is part of Parent Council.
