My World: Rosa Covarrubias
Rosa Covarrubias, a senior sociology and political science double major, decided to earn her science credits through a marine biology trip to Belize. The addiction began: Soon she was learning about history and literature in Mexico, Peru, and Argentina. Now, she’s in Washington, D.C., studying faith and politics. Her education — both on the Seattle Pacific University campus and abroad — has revealed a future goal. “I’d like to work in foreign policy,” she says. “I want to help promote international cooperation.”
