Philip Jacobs is now soaking up the Southern Californian sun in Ontario, CA, where he's using his business major to develop his own businesses, including a music company.
"Music is still working for me. When I get more settled in, make some more contacts, build a little capital, and after my wedding, I plan on pursuing it even harder."
Although he misses certain aspects of college life, Jacobs says he's "happy to be living in the real world and mastering that."

Phil, or Sharp Skills to his friends, is already making plans to pursue music as a full-time career when he graduates in 2007. In the meantime, he’s bringing his A game to Dr. Nienhuis’ Theology 3100, dreaming up business ventures, and trying to remember each day is an opportunity. Phil says SPU has stretched him — “a good stretch.”
