Seattle Pacific University ensures that all employees (including any temporary contracted employees) who perform duties within SPU’s Title IX Sexual Harassment Grievance Process Investigation (hereafter “Title IX Administrators”) receive training that complies with the requirements set forth by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and regulations.
The Title IX Administrators have received, and continue to receive, a variety of training and certifications aligned with best practices and in compliance with State and Federal law. In accordance with 34 CFR 106.45(b)(10)(D), Seattle Pacific University is making the training materials publicly available on its website that are used to train its Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Title IX Coordinators, Investigators, Decision Makers, Appeal Reviewers, and Informal Process Facilitators for its Title IX Sexual Harassment Grievance Process.
