Banking: A U.S. Bank with a full-service cash machine is located on West Bertona across from the Student Union Building (SUB). Bookstore: Located across from the Student Union Building (SUB) on West Bertona, the SPU Bookstore carries textbooks, gifts, cards, University clothing, and everyday items. Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday 11a.m.–2 p.m.; Sunday closed. Phone: 206-281-2137.

Campus Information (The BRANCH): The BRANCH is a student-run campus information and service desk. Services include directing phone calls; welcoming visitors; assisting with vending machines; and issuing bus, swim, and Seattle Art Museum passes. Also manages the lost-and-found. Location: Weter Hall, main floor next to Common Grounds coffee shop. Phone: 206-281-2000 (dial “0” if on campus) Hours: Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–12 p.m. Students will also be able to access these services on the third floor of Weter at the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership reception area between noon to 6 p.m.; persons with mobility challenges will be able to call the OSIL reception area to have a staff person come to meet them on the second floor.
Campus Security: Located at 601 W. Emerson, Safety and Security is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Security staff members are trained in CPR, first aid, and respond to all campus emergencies and minor injuries. Computer HelpDesk: Computer and Information Systems is located in lower Marston. The HelpDesk is available for technical consultation on software applications, network access, account setup, and other basic troubleshooting that can be handled over the phone. Costs and Financial Aid for Graduate Students: Student Financial Services (SFS) can respond to your questions about financial aid, tuition, scholarships, and student employment. - Gwinn Commons dining hall, our main dining facility, offers an inviting atmosphere and a menu to accommodate student preferences, including exhibition cooking and made-to-order meals.
- Corner Place Market, our campus convenience store located off Martin Square, features Einstein Bros. ® bagels, Simply to Go meals, snacks, fruit, and a wide selection of beverages.
- Common Grounds, our campus coffee shop in Weter Hall, features espresso drinks, fresh-baked pastries, a variety of snack items, and Simply to Go meals.
- Falcon’s Landing is a convenient retail restaurant and grill in the SUB that features Einstein Bros. ® bagels, specialty burgers, a tossed-to-order salad station, and a variety of grab-and-go options.
- Academic Perks, an espresso kiosk in the SUB, features Starbucks® coffee, a variety of light snacks, upscale desserts, and Simply to Go meals.
- Subway Sandwiches, located across from Tiffany Loop.

Email: Email is a necessary and required method for communication at SPU. Following registration, your SPU email address is automatically created. Enrollment Verification: Course enrollment and degree verification is verified for current and past quarters by the Office of the Registrar, located in Demaray Hall 151. Hours: Monday–Wednesday and Thursday: 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Phone: 206-281-2031.
Grades and Grade Reports: The quality of a student’s performance in a course is recognized by a letter grade that is counted in points. Except in cases of clerical error, no instructor may change a grade that he or she has submitted to the Office of the Registrar. In addition, grade changes may be made only in the quarter following the course.
Gym/Workout Facilities: With a valid SPU ID card, graduate and evening students are welcome to use the gym facilities located in Royal Brougham Pavilion. Available services include the weight room and aerobic fitness center. Students also have limited court access; check the schedule outside the main gym for available court times. Sea Pac Pass (Campus Card): Your Sea Pac Pass is required on campus for photo identification to check out library materials, to gain admission to campus activities, and to gain access to certain buildings on campus. You can also add Advantage Points for purchases at dining locations and Debit Dollars for all purchases other than dining locations (such as the Bookstore, Mailing Services, copying and printing on campus, and select beverage vending machines). Sea Pac Passes are issued at the Office of University Services. Students are issued their first card at no charge. A fee is incurred if the card must be replaced during the balance of the student's stay at SPU. University Services is located at 3220 Sixth Avenue West. Phone: 206-281-2693.
Library: The SPU Library provides books, journals, and magazines. It also provides online databases, accessible from the Library and through the Library website. Students need a valid University ID card to check out books and other materials. Check the schedule for current hours. Phone: 206-281-2228 (main desk), 206-281-2419 (reference desk).
Parking: All vehicles must be registered with Safety and Security. This registration is free and required by the city and University. During the academic year, all commuter lots are free to park in from 4 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday–Friday and all day Saturday–Sunday (with the exception of S lot outside Demaray Hall). Street parking is free, but cars must still be registered with Safety and Security. Hours: Safety and Security is open 24 hours a day. Phone: 206-281-2821.
Public Transportation: King County's Metro bus service is a reliable commuting option, serving the University campus and making regular daily trips to downtown Seattle. Students may purchase bus passes in Safety and Security. Bus and ferry schedules are located in Uni-Com.
Class Registration: Dates for registration are published in the University Calendar found at the front of the Graduate Catalog and in the Time Schedule. Matriculated graduate and doctoral students may register through the first week of the quarter and participate in advance registration. Students will be asked to petition and late fees will be charged if registration occurs after the fifth day of the quarter. Though registration procedures vary from program to program, four options are available to students:

- Via Banner Information System.

Disability Support Services: The University provides a variety of services for students with disabilities. The Center for Learning, located in Lower Moyer, can assist with scheduling interpreters, readers, and other special assistants. The office can also facilitate the acquisition of Braille and recorded materials, and it can provide individual counseling and/or referrals. The Center also supports classroom accommodation, including negotiating needs with faculty and arranging for accessible classrooms.
