Provides the advanced practice nurse with the knowledge and tools to perform a comprehensive health assessment on adolescents, adults, and older adults. Uses experiential and didactic learning activities to facilitate development of evidence informed advanced assessment skills including systematic collection, organization, interpretation, integration, and communication of data. Emphasizes acquisition of critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills as well as on the collection and analysis of relevant data for the development of a comprehensive and holistic assessment.
