THEO 6950: ST: Welcoming the Stranger (2024-2025)

View all THEO classes

As vulnerable migrants are dehumanized for political convenience, the Church's historic commitment to immigrants, refugees, and asylum-seekers is as important as ever. Explore theologies of hospitality and liberation in partnership with local congregations and organizations that are serving migrant communities throughout the Seattle area. In this weekend intensive, you'll hear directly from pastors, community leaders, and advocates working to create spaces of welcome for some of our most vulnerable neighbors. May be repeated for credit up to 10 credits.
