EDU 6250: Blueprint for Flourishing in Education (2024-2025)

This course provides academic and social-emotional development for teacher education students as they move further into their graduate program. The three credits for this course are spread over the academic year from Autumn-Spring at one credit per quarter. The course focuses on individualized, meaningful activities and assignments developed one-on-one with the instructor that will increase the likelihood for success in the program. Students will identify their greatest areas for growth, learn to self-advocate, identify support resources, and empower themselves to make the most of their graduate school journey. At the conclusion of the course, students will create a culminating project that demonstrates progress on goals set at the beginning of the first quarter. Enrollment is limited and must be approved by the program chair. Typically offered: Autumn, Winter, Spring. May be repeated for credit 2 times.
